Two years ago I had the opportunity to leave human healthcare for veterinary, and I’ve never looked back. My significant other Nate, son Tatum and daughter Paxton all share my same passion for pets. We have two Great Danes- Stella and Scout, as well as an adorable mutt Remi. I am a hopeless pet “rescue” addict and have to constantly be told no to taking in any and every needy case.

I obtained my Veterinary Assistant license through Metropolitan Community College. I am currently enrolled at Penn Foster for my technician degree. I have been with Southpaw since it opened in 2022. My husband, Peter, and I have three dogs: Copper (11), Blue (4) and Ace (2).

Jennifer graduated from Vatterott College in 2022 with her LVT. She then went on to work in an AAHA 7 doctor practice for the next 20 years. She eventually worked  her way up the management ladder to the lead technician manager. After 20 years, Jen decided to take a two- year hiatus where she was able to perfect her management skills in the human medicine realm. She soon realized she missed making a difference on the animal side and came back to veterinary medicine. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She is also fond of beagles and enjoys frequent snuggles with her two beagles Brianna and Sandy that are affectionately nicknamed “The Grannies”.
